“I have said so many times that Ryan Kinder should be a huge name within the music industry. It actually pains me that he isn’t. Not only is he a sensational vocalist but he is also an extremely talented guitar player and a fantastic songwriter. As a huge supporter of many artists, Kinder is one artist that I truly truly want to be a huge success.” - Hanna Compton

Soulful Country-Rock Artist Ryan Kinder Returns with New Album Heirloom and Nashville Release Show
NASHVILLE, TN – Renowned country-rock artist Ryan Kinder is set to captivate fans once again with the release of his highly anticipated sophomore album, Heirloom. The album, a deeply personal reflection on self-discovery and artistic reclamation, will be celebrated with an intimate album release show at The OG Basement in Nashville, TN, on Wednesday, December 11, at 7 PM.
Known for his powerful storytelling, gritty vocals and electrifying guitar driven performances, Ryan Kinder has amassed over 100 million streams and shared stages with music legends like John Fogerty, ZZ Top, Zac Brown Band, Eric Clapton, and Gary Clark Jr. His debut album, Room to Dream, introduced listeners to his soul-driven country-rock sound. With Heirloom, Ryan takes listeners deeper into his journey of introspection and authenticity.
"This album marks a reclamation of myself," says Ryan. "I spent years in the music industry where everyone had an idea of who I should be. Heirloom is the result of stepping away, finding my voice, and creating something that feels honest and true."
The album was recorded in the cultural haven of Montreal, Canada, alongside producer Luke Sheets. "Montreal provided the perfect escape to focus entirely on the music," Ryan explains. "The city’s rich culture and cold weather gave the recording process a nostalgic, intimate feel." The result is a collection of songs that feel both personal and timeless, resonating with themes of loss, healing, and familial connections.
Heirloom features standout tracks like:
- "What If I" – A poignant piano-led ballad that marked Ryan’s return to music during the pandemic.
- "Lost on You" – A deeply personal song that captures Ryan’s love for heartfelt, resonant storytelling.
- "Good Again" – Inspired by a friend’s loss, this track explores grief and the search for healing.
- "Family Tree" – A reflective piece that ties together themes of heritage and connection.
- "Save Me Now" – A haunting track with international roots, co-written during a songwriting camp in Oslo.
Ryan’s artistry extends beyond music. As a lifelong athlete and Ironman competitor, his determination and passion mirror his approach to songwriting and performing. "I’m ready to hit the road again," he shares. "2025 will be about reconnecting with fans, playing shows, and sharing more music."
The release show at The Basement holds a special significance for Ryan. "The Basement is where it all started for so many artists, including me. It’s an intimate space with incredible energy, and I wanted to celebrate this album in a place that feels personal."
Fans can expect an evening of heartfelt performances, showcasing songs from Heirloom and connecting deeply with the music that defines Ryan Kinder’s journey.
